KR N Nothing like that, not even close. This might be few decades ago, things changed a lot Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/19/23 Full Review Advaith R One of the most important films that everyone must see for its message. It brilliantly shows the injustice towards women. Brilliantly acted by the leads in the metaphorical "Great Indian Kitchen". Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/01/22 Full Review Audience Member While the message of the movie was great, it could've fit in 30 mins. I was exhausted with it after the 3rd time they showed her cook, clean, do the dishes and cater to the incompetent and babied men. My GF and her mother stopped watching it soon after too though they seemed pretty glued to it early on. I would've recommended the movie to others if it was less than half as long as it actually is. Rated 2.5/5 Stars • Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member The filmmaker has shown abnormal mysogenistic society via a story that looks absolutely normal. We see it everyday almost in every household without giving it a thought. This film makes us realize how toxic the life is for many women - Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member A really well made movie! Exposes the orthodoxy and deep-rooted patriarchy that exists in society. Convincingly portrayed by the lead actors, this makes for compulsive viewing. Go for it, you won't be disappointed! I would place it amongst the really powerful cinema I have watched in quite some time. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Holds an unflinching mirror to the worst aspects of Indian society Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
